I agree on the judgmental people on a few boards. Some are not very welcoming to newbies...

I am new to the board and have been "lurking" for a few weeks. I decided to finally post and let's just say I was not warmly welcomed!

Anyway, I'm Kristen from Carrollton. My DH and I have been married for almost 2 1/2 years and started ttc about 5 months ago..

Aw, Thanks! I posted on the Babies on the Brain board. It seems to me those ladies are all a VERY close knit group of girls. I think that's nice, but seriously, they actually post about how many newbies are posting...Asking if we have our "big girl panties" on to keep up with the board..hahaha. Seriously??

This seems to be a MUCH nicer board... Big Smile

Oh wow, yes ... BOTB is not for the faint of heart. You might try the 'Getting Pregnant' board ... I think they have a tendancy to be 'nicer' anyway!

Haha, I've always thought of myself as a pretty tough girl, able to roll with the punches, but oh my! Those girls are something else! lol

Yeah, BOTB is very, very different from when I was on there, which seems like a looooonnngg time ago. Even if you lurk and get a feel for the board it's a crapshoot if anyone will be nice to you. Meh. People need to get over themselves, really. Stay here or like Totty said, go to Getting Pregnant...but really? The lot of us are much, MUCH nicer here and we'll answer any questions you have - not that we've got all the answers, but I think we're pretty smart. Welcome!
