Help me finish DD's 1st Birthday Dress!

Here is what it looks like so far:

I am planning to iron on a big green "1". I'm debating whether I should add some green fabric at the bottom with a white rick rack, like how this one below has red around the bottom, and puting an iron on rhinestone cupcake on the green.

WDYT? I can't decide... Leave it with just the polka dots, or add the green?

I think the green 1 and the green fabric at the bottom too will pull it all together.

If you don't me asking, how did you make that? Is it one of those t-shirt dresses?

Its a pillowcase dress. Here are the directions I followed for the 1st one I did. MIL helped me do the 1st one because I am very new to sewing. Its really not that hard!
