HB: when did you hear w/doppler?

I have my appt tomorrow and we will try to hear it (just over 9 wks). DH says don't get excited but I can't help it. When did you girls hear the hb?

We heard the hb with a doppler at 14w - 9w seems early, but GL!

11 weeks. When I went at 9 weeks they said it was too early.

I still haven't heard the heartbeat. Dr couldn't find it with the doppler at my 12 week appointment, but she did a vaginal ultrasound, so I got to see Baby and see the heartbeat. And at my NT scan yesterday, there was no sound, but the tech measured the HB at 150. So everything is good.

Maybe I'll finally get to hear it at my 16 week appointment.

Doctor found it at 10w3d. She had a VERY hard time finding it, though, because not only was it still a little early, but I also have a tilted uterus. Good luck! And I see nothing wrong with getting excited... as long as you know there is a chance you may not be able to hear the HB just yet.

They didn't even try at my earlier apt. at 8.5 weeks.

We heard/saw it at 7 weeks with a vaginal ultrasaound. I went back in at 11 weeks and PEanut was hiding, so my doctor "played" with the ultrasound and got the heartbeat. She says the next appointment there will be no issue hearing it with the Doppler.

we didn't hear it right away, so our midwife took us over to the ultrasound room because she knew it was open (and excited to show us our baby!) and we saw the little one and saw the heart pumping away

I was 8 weeks 5 days when we first heard it with the doppler.

12 weeks with my last pregnancy. Most Dr's don't try at 9 weeks unless you are having a vaginal U/S for some reason. It's something to look forward to for your next appointment though

I heard the heartbeat at 10 weeks, 0 days. I also have a tipped back uterus...so they warned me I might not be able to. So if yours is normal you very well might, I was told 9 weeks was normal. Good luck!!

We heard the hb at the ultrasound at 10 weeks and the doppler at my 11 week appt. It took him a while to find it on the doppler but he finally did. We were able to hear the baby kicking in there too - there was a loud thump - it was quite amusing.

Dr. could not get hb yesterday at 10w1d w/doppler. U/s though showed / heard hb. I wouldn't count on hearing it, but GL!!!

I heard it at 8 wks 3 days when I had an ultrasound. But I called first and they said I was having an ultrasound and we should be able to hear it (I wanted to know if DH should come)

My doctor tried to get the heart beat at my 10 wks appt and could not. Yesterday at my 14 wks appt we got to hear it.

Don't get concerned if they can't pick it up at 9 wks, that is very early.

i had my first US yesterday at 6 weeks, 5 days....was shocked to see and hear the heartbeat!!! Made my day b/c i kept telling myself not to be upset if we didnt hear it!
