Pregnant after a Loss

How much is your prenatal?

Mine jumped from $2.50 with my old insurance to $12 a month with my new insurance. ?That annoyed me, but I might need to put things in perspective. ?How much do you guys pay? ?

?

Also, is anyone else having ticker problems? ?I really want to make one and it isn't letting me preview mine and then when I paste it into my profile, nothing shows up :( ?It's been going on for 2 days!?

  • Mine are $10 per month because I request the generic of the brand that I use. Before they were $35.

  • Our insurance changed too and I knew it was going to go up to $15 at the pharmacy I usually go to so I switched to Wal-Mart since the generic prenatals are part of the $4 generics.  I got a 90 day supply for $10.

  • I buy mine over the counter and it is $16 a month. It includes a DHA supplement as well (One a Day). Before that I went through two different prescriptions, but both times they stopped making the brand I was taking.
  • $13 for 60 - gotta love Trader Joe's.
  • I take Target OTC prenatals. There's like a 100 or so for not that much.

I take the Women's One a Day prenatals plus DHA, and it's about $20-$25 for a 30-day supply.

  • I take Nature Made or Nature something.... they are in teh Vitamin ilse in the pharmacy at Target.  12 ct and I seem to remember them being $3-4 dollars/bottle.

My OB told me with my DD there was no need for me to take a script since I have nothing out of the ordinary to be cautious about so after my first script was up with DD I switched to OTC brand.....  And I never stopped taking them after she was born so I have been on them daily for 4 yrs.

I bought an OTC at WMart - think I got 240 pills for 10 (take one a day).
  • I use Prenate with DHA and they are like $30 a month. It never occured to me to ask for the generic I may do that next time and save some dough.
  • I use the generic version of DHA and my insurance covers 100%.  I was using OTC which I was completely fine with, but since my insurance pays for the prescription I decided to switch over and save my 10 dollars a month.
  • I buy the Target OTC prenatals, and they are about $7 for the big bottle (200 pills) so that lasts me a few months. I also buy Expecta Lipil for the DHA supplement, which is about $11 for a 30day supply.
