question about eating ice and baby moving?

now i might get flamed, this might be a STUPID question lol, but just curious. so i chew ALOT of ice, i take iron pills, and everything, i just like ice alot, and i've noticed that when i start crunching it, baby starts getting jiggy wit it LOL, and moving all over the place. do u think its cuz he hears it, or cuz he knows its bout to get cold down there soon? lol

    It might just be coinsidence, but it's still kind of funny! I would think it's the sound he likes (or doesn't like).

    No flaming! If you asked if ice was ok because you were afraid you'd give your baby brain freeze, THEN I'd flame!!!

    I'm guessing the baby is moving because it's cold, not because he hears you chew it. When women notice decreased movement, the reason the doctor has you drink a cold beverage is that it will usually prompt the baby to wiggle around in there!

    I do the same thing.  I think she hears it.  She will do the same thing when I eat an apple.
