I let Nadia eat her hands.

And if my mother in law pulls Nadia's hands out of her mouth one more time or tells me too, I am going to loose it!

Babies eat their hands and if her hands or fingers in her mouth make her feel better right now- so be it.

Does that make me a bad mom?

    ummmm no! I never pulled Zoe's hands out of her mouth!! She only does it now for teething relief, she's not a thumb sucker or hand sucker for soothing. Don't stress the little stuff!!

    OF COURSE NOT!!! Lili is loving her hands now too, especially her thumbs. We hear her over the monitor at night sucking away...

    I must admit it does drive me a little bit insane but I'm learning to let it go. Wink Does that mean her teeth are coming??

    mil's can intervene with kids when no one asked them to!

    my mil called dh this wknd and told him "how dare we take mady to the beach that she's just a baby and she never did that with him"....dh said "she's our daughter, not yours, we're the parents and damn good ones too"....well said, that shut her up and im glad she didnt tell me that b/c i wasnt gonna keep my mouth shut either.

    ps. i never ever take mady's hands out of her mouth either!

    That is what they do! Whe does she pull her hands out of her mouth? Doesn't she know that is only going to make Nadia want them more? Right now she is not even really conscience that she is doing it.

    Wierd. If that makes you a bad mom then most of us are guilty of being bad moms. Dude, your MIL is going to freak when she goes for her feet! LOL.

    Chase eats his hands all the time. I don't think there's anything wrong with it! Babies are going to do that!!!

    No worries girl. Julian eats his hands all day long. Especially after feedings, which makes me think he's still hungry...I stick the boob back in his mouth and he pushes me away. I have tried to give him a pacifier when I see him sucking his hand but he refuses it. So for now its staying that way a long as it comforts him!

    My MIL shoves her fingers in Joshua's mouth. Its so disgusting. And I tell her to stop but its like, she totally ignores me!!

    And no, you are not a bad mom!!!! Joshua eats his hands all the time. I think its super cute. He even gets his toes in there sometimes.
