Jumping on the No Progress Bandwagon

This must be a bad day for progress. I am still at barely 2 cm and 70% effaced after two weeks!! Did I mention I am now offically overdue, 40 weeks and 2 days? Of course my midwife is talking induction which really bumbs me out because I wanted her to come naturally. I go for a non stress test on Thursday and then we go from there. I need major labor dust and progress prayers!

    welcome to the club, i'm 3 days overdue :(

    i don't see my dr. again until Wed., but i'm sure we'll be talking about induction for later in the week.

    You have 1.5cms more than me!  Yes, I'm at a measely 1/2cm. 

     

    I so feel your pain except that I'm not opposed to induction. If I was at 2cm my doctor would induce me. Since I'm not, I have to wait another week.

    If it makes you feel any better, I was 4 cm this a.m. and baby has dropped.  Nothing is happening.  So I'm not sure what is more discouraging.  I still have 11 days to go, but you would think I should be starting labor.  I guess babies will come when they are good and ready!

    I'm not overdue but thought I'd jump on, too.  At 39 weeks, I have a closed cervix that's about 60% dilated.  The OB said "see you next week".
