too young to be teething??

I know of the 4 month wakeful but so far (crossing fingers) haven't really had that - though the past 3 days he's been really fussy out of nowhere and we assume overly tired because he seems sleepy but is fighting his naps ---- BUT at the same time gnawing at his hands and anything I put in front of him. He's eating pretty normal aside from taking a bottle yesterday once 2 hours in between instead of the normal 3.5 hours.

Could he be teething? what else could it be?

DD had two teeth by the time she was 4 months old so he could be teething ... GL

Apparently not- I just hopped on 6-12 to ask the same question (post is a little ways down). I can't put DS down, he is so fussy, fighting naps, SUPER clingy, drooling, etc. He's been showing all the teething signs for about the past month but it's been hell this past week.
