Here's a website and diaperswappers thread about RLR,
but you just put your clean diapers in there with a packet (some people
soak for 20-30 minutes) and wash in hot water to strip then rinse rinse
rinse again till no suds! Its a great diaper stripper.

And Easter - it sounds like you had some bigtime build up if your diapers suds-ed up that much!!!!! RLR doesn't suds AT ALL, so that was ALLL left over soap!
Re: FYI: What RLR is :)
^^^this. I lurve what it does for my towels, too.
How much would you use for a regular CD load? 1/2 a package?
Is there quite a bit in one package? (I see shipping is $5?!)
I've only done it once - I bought a bunch of packets to help customers who were having build up problems with other detergents and switching detergents etc. When I did it, I used the entire packet in my HE machine with all of our diapers (then, it was probably 30 diapers). They were freshly washed diapers.
I didn't get any suds, unfortunately - I was realllly hoping to see something happen
Edit to add - that's why I bought a bunch of packets (shipping was high where I purchased from). They're just small little packets - think seasoning packet size that you buy for cooking, KWIM? There's a store where I found it to be somewhat reasonable - shipping *should* be something like $2-3 for first class, I think $5 is a ripoff!
