How many children you want to have?

I was just wondering how many children everyone wants to have. It seems like when I was growing up the average family had two children well now I think that number has gone up. Most families I run into have three children at least. I am just wondering if other notice that family sizes have seemed to increase.

I really want to have 2-3 of my own (depending on how my next pregnancy goes) and then adopt 1 or 2 children for a total of four. I just don't think I would be happy stopping with my next child. I want a house full of children. I know my feeling on this can change, but this is what I am thinking now.

I thought after having one that I'd change my mind, and only want two or three. But nope, I still definitely want four.

i voted 2, but DH and i agree 2-3.

I say that now only 2 months in hahah. and my pregnancy was super smooth. So if the next one is rough, guess i'll be stopping there .

also i know DH wants a boy to pass his namesake along since he's the only one who can now. So if DC #2 is a girl as well, perhaps 1 more to see if we get a boy lol

I only really want 1, but I feel like she really should have a sibling....so I guess we'll have another. Undecided still.

I have two girls now, and would love a boy. Hopefully we get a boy cuz I have a feeling DH might want to try "one more time." Bah!

If we have a girl next then we are done. If the next one is another boy, we are going to try for a third and hope it is a girl. If not, then we are stopping and will be completely happy if we end up with three boys.
