I'd like to be added. I'm Michele and my EDD is Sept 19th. We are planning on finding out the gender but currently I am leaning towards girl. My next appointment is with my OB on 3/26.
QOTD: Who's family will be a bigger help to you once baby arrives? Your's or DH's? DH's immediate family is definitely bigger. This baby will be the 5th grandbaby whereas it is only the 2nd in my immediate family. BUT my extended family is much much larger, so going by that it'll add more to my extended family.
QOTD (NBR): How long have you been married or with your SO? It'll be 4 years in June that we've been married but 8 years that we've been together.

QOTD--It's a tie. They are so excited, both sets of parents are dying to do stuff now.
QOTD-Off and on for 16 yrs (JK/LOL) He was my HS boyfriend, we broke up after he graduated since I was still in HS. Ran into each other at a football game a few years ago and have been like silly teenagers ever since.
We've scheduled the level II u/s! It's April 27th
DD swears we're having a girl but DH and I are both thinking Boy.
QOTD #1: They're all far away, so it's kind of a toss-up. MIL/SFIL will babysit more often but that's because they're the closest of all 3 sets.
QOTD #2: It was 5 years in February.
I would like to be added. Next appt is March 31
Veronica, Due Sept 13, I will be finding out but I don't have a guess.
My family will be the bigger help, providing daycare. They are also local unlike DH's family.
By the time the baby is born we will have been married a little over a year.

Q1: My family is here in the area, about 45 minutes away. ANd its the first grandbaby on my side, so my folks will be more involved. DH's family is in Ohio, so they will probably visit 3-4 times/yr.
Q2: Together 4 yrs, married 2 in May
Well, DH's family all lives out of town so they won't be able to physically help but I am sure they will be a big help as far as items we need. My family is all local so I am sure they will be a big help as far as babysitting, etc.

1st QOTD: Both our families live 1 hr away, so it might be a toss-up with who will be most helpful. ?I'd probably have to say my mom, but I really don't know on this one:)

Well, since my family lives about 6 hours away, DH's family will be a bigger help; however, if my family lived in town they would have been the bigger hlep. Honestly, it may be a possibility our FRIENDS parents will be a bigger help than DH's parents. We don't see them too often now, but I guess things could change after the baby is born. Who knows, maybe we will see them more often and maybe they will jump at the chance to babysit etc.

[/RA with Sjogren's Syndrome. Risk of heart block in newborn. Age: DH and I are both 38.
BFP #1: 11/25/2007, EDD 7/28/2008 - Missed m/c (blighted ovum) 12/6/2007 6w3d, D&C 1/3/2008.
BFP #2: 4/2008 - Natural m/c at 6w.
Met with RE in 5/2008 full cycle analysis and SA normal. Not considered high risk for blood clots but prescribed 1 baby aspirin a day precautionary during TTC and Progesterone suppositories during 1st trimester of pregnancy.
BFP #3: 10/17/2008. EDD 6/23/2009, Third time's the charm! Healthy baby boy born 6/27/2009 via emergency c-section.
BFP #4: 6/14/2011. Healthy baby boy born 2/16/2012 via elective c-section.
BFP #5: 1/15/2014. EDD 9/22/2014. 2/17/14:.We have a BABY!!! Heart rate 167 and measuring on time. 3/10/14 u/s #2 baby measuring perfectly at 12 weeks at heart rate of 166. NT u/s was normal. Maternit21 blood draw on 3/5/14. Results back on 3/19 - Normal. It's a BOY!!! 4/10/14 at 16 weeks, 3 days discovered baby's heart stopped at 15 weeks, 6 days. D&C 4/11/14. Pathology results were all normal. New information on 8/11/14 - blood test revealed 1/3 of babys blood was in mine caused, most likely, by a tear in the placenta from extreme coughing. Doctor believes this to be the cause of death. Repeat D&C and Hysteroscopy scheduled for 8/19/14. My Chart

Can I please be added? I'll have a c-section between 38-39w, so I'll be an August mommy, but my EDD is 9/5, I'm guessing girl, and I have my 16w appt and possibly an u/s on Tuesday 3/24.
QOTD: Who's family will be a bigger help to you once baby arrives? Your's or DH's? Financially, mine. In time and just helping out, DH. But this time around will be totally different and I'm not sure who will actually be more help, because we live 8 hours away from all the parents.

Mine will be a huge help since my mom's coming to stay for a while and help me with the baby. I also have a sister that lives nearby, so she'll probably be a big help too.

We've been married for almost 3 years and together for 7.
QOTD: While DH has family close to where we live, I think my family will probably be of more help. We expect people to come out here and visit and help.

Hi! I have an appointment coming up next Monday, March 23 - just my regular one.
QOTD: Probably mine - DH's parents don't live too far away (a little over an hour by car), but mine are only 10 minutes away. We see mine more often now, so I'm assuming it will be the same way after Mojo is an outside baby.
QOTD (NBR): I met DH on December 16, 2005, at an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party, and we got married on October 13, 2007.
i guess i m ready to be added - its interesting that the 1st tri list graduates at 13 weeks but 2nd tri picks up at 14wks. do we get a week off for good behaviour?

qotd- my family will def be a muhc bigger help. dhs fam did hardly more than squat when ben was born, they didnt even come to see him (we only lived 3 hours away, now its more like 11.) my fam on the other hand is fabulous and i am so lucky to have them (yes, maybe a little biased too but so be it!)

I think both of our families will be a big help. I know I'll be able to set up a schedule with my mom and my MIL to stay with me and help out for the first few weeks. They all live out of town. I really get along well with my MIL and my mom, so I'm happy to have both of them help.
My DH and I will be married for 4 years in July, and we've been together for a little over 9 years.
I have an appointment this Wed, but it's just an OB appointment.
Definitely the bigger help will be from my family. My mom has already volunteered to stay with us for the first month. MH's family is so big and normally doing their own thing, so I will depend on my family most.

DH's family will be much more of a help with the baby. Dh's mom is very involved with us, but keeps a safe distance.

I have my monthly dr. appt this thursday. I think I have to do my second blood draws for my quad screen -- and I am hoping to hear back what my results were from my NT scan too. I am taking it that they did not call me with bad results that it is not bad. I also get my paperwork so that I can schedule my big u/s in three weeks. yay!
ob appointment went great...the dr found the heartbeat right away...such a relief!! ?We got to set up the appointment for the big U/S...can't wait. ?Next appt and big u/s is April 16th.

I think both families will help equally. I think our other 4 kids will be the biggest help

Not sure - both live 12 hrs away. My family generally helps us more often on a regular basis as it is though.
