physical today should I get pg test?

I have an appointment this afternoon for a physical (yuck!).  Our insurance makes sure we do one each year so I have no choice but to go, eventhough I have seen my ob/gyn about 7 times in the last 3 months....

This is what I'm thinking, when they take blood to run all of the normal tests, should I ask them to test for pg?  I am 5DPO and I know I couldn't possibly do a HPT for at least another week, but would it come up for the Dr?

    I really don't think so. You start producing HCG after implantation and it's far too early for that. It's usually about a week to 10 days after O.  Even if you implanted today (at the earliest) it would take a couple days for it to even show up. So regardless, it will come up as negative on a blood test.

    I think it's still possible to early but, if your already paying for it why not.

Triplets Lost baby A @ weeks, Lost Baby B at 6 weeks and lost baby Abigail at 14 weeks when she was born to little for this life..... Forever with us ....

    Maybe bring it up to your doctor and see what he/she thinks?  I'd want to know early, but only if it was a BFP.  That would be a tough call for me.
