What month should you have your baby shower?

What month should you have your baby shower? I would like to know. This is my first baby.

    I'm not sure there is a "correct" month to have it, but mine will be at 34 weeks.

    I'm not having mine until after the baby is born. If I were to have one before, I'd probably have it mid July (I'm due August 30th).

    Anytime you feel like. I am due at the end of July so I think we are doing ours at the end of May. Give myself a couple of months to get things put away and organized.

    I am also having one after the baby is born at some point. that might be an option for you as well.

    My first one is a month and a half before my due date.  Ideally, I would have liked to have had it at least 2 months before my due date, but this is what worked with everyone's schedules.

    I didn't want to have it so late that I might have delivered, but I also didn't want it so early that I'd have to store a bunch of stuff for a really long time!!  We're not planning to put together the nursery until about 2 months out, so it should work out prefectly!

    I'm due on the 4th of July & my shower is on May 16th.

    I think it depends on the person throwing the shower & how your pregnancy is going.

    i want mine around wk 31~ it will be the following weekend after memorial day weekend~ i am due Aug 6th but there is a possibility that i will be delivering early due to my bp~ and i may have to go on bedrest so depending on how my next few doc appts go~ the date may change

    Like others, I don't think there is a "correct" time. Mine are probably early, but I have out of town friends and family, and we worked it out when they could come. Mine are in May, but I'm not due until August.

    Um, yeah. The Bump be too crazy for pics of my kid.

    Mine will be like the second weekend in august and I'm due September 17th so we'll see how that works out.

    It depends on your circumstances and what time works best for you.  I'll be 26 weeks at mine.  I have to fly out of state for it.

    Mine will be early - 23 weeks.  But that was the only time that my mom and sister could both be there.
