The weather here in MN has been so fabulous lately- yesterday it was almost 60. So we put DS in his stroller and took a really long walk (hour and a half). He was wearing a hooded jacket, sweats and shoes and appeared very happy and comfortable the whole ride. But about a half hour after we got home he has these two huge red burn marks on his cheeks. They are like huge angry blisters!! Apparently it was wind burn- it was fairly breezy outside, and I guess we should have thought of this. We were just so happy to be out that we forgot some common sense. Word to the wise for all you other mom's anxious to get outside- next time I'll slather on some vaseline on his face before heading out.
Re: Lesson learned: warmer weather warning
We were out for a long time yesterday too. I didnt even notice that ds took his hat off in his stroller until we had been out for 45 mins. Poor guy ears were cold!
