Almost killed DH (GS cookie related)

So I have been dying for girl scout cookies lately.  All the boards are full of posts about people getting theirs.  Last week at a friends house I had one thin mint and had to hold back from taking handfuls. 

So tonight we go grocery shopping.  On the way in the store we see a table and DH says "oh it's the girl scouts" and I'm running over with DD to buy our cookies.  They have all the popular kinds, and a whole bunch of thin mints.  DH says to wait and buy them on the way out.  I don't want to wait but after I find out that they will be there for another hour I go inside.

We shop and DD and I leave him in line to pay and go to get our cookies.  We have enough for 2 boxes.

Get to the table and the person in front of me is buying the last box of thin mints!!!!  I was so disappointed.

Then DH comes out of the store with the cart.  I think if we weren't in public I would have hit him.  All I did was find out that they were coming back tomorrow with more mint cookies.  And make DH promise to be there at 3pm when they show up to buy me lots and lots of boxes.

    Sounds fair to me.  I probably would have cried in the parking lot.

    I would have cried.

    I went away for a couple of days and Dh ate 1/2 box of my GS cookies.  Lets just say he learned his lesson.
