Luca Glider - or other suggestions?

We're having a hard time finding a glider - we live in an urban area and our place is somewhat modern, I am not really a fan of the common rocker/glider styles - Dutalier, etc..  The only design I seem to like looks - wise is the Luca, and unfortunately we sat on it in a store for the first time recently and were so disappointed - it was hard as a rock, so we're back to the drawing board.

We did like the comfort of the Best chair, and maybe one or two others, but we weren't crazy about the style of any of them....

Does anyone have the Luca or any other modern type glider?  curious about feedback and looking for something that is a little more sleek and modern than the other gliders/rockers out there, but still comfy....

    I bought this one.  We tried it in the store and it is pretty confy for a modern design.  It's a rocker not a glider but DH and felt better moving in this than the gliders.  If you like it...you should order it quickly because it is being discontinued.

    We have the Monte Luca glider and absolutely love it.  We actually find it to be quite comfortable (it does soften a bit in time).  Yes, it is firmer than a traditional glider but to get that sleek look, you can't have that 'cushy, sink down' feeling when you sit in it.  The gliding on the Luca is so smooth & the arm rests are the perfect height, like I said we use it every night & it is one of our favorite things in the nursery. GL!
