Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

bloody sheets =

1st molar coming in!  My DH took him out of his crib this morning and OF COARSE did NOT notice the blood all over the sheets.  But my little guy has been fussy and "off" all morning so I went to lay him down for a nap and bingo...blood.  At first I freaked, saw no cuts anywhere but remembered my friends baby bleeding when she got her molars, so I stuck my finger in his mouth and WALA....giant molar popping threw.  POOR GUY!  Tylenol + observant mommy = sleepy time!!!!!!

 Yay for teething!

  • Great catch momma on what is going on with your DC!  We are currently coping with DS cutting two to four teeth right now, and I can only imagine the trauma of a molar.

  • I didn't realize this could happen. Giada had some blood in her mouth a few weeks back and I thought she had just banged on something when I wasn't watching (she's pretty tough, so she doesn't cry a lot).  She's got two molars coming in, so this explains it.
  • Oh my gosh, I would've freaked out and NEVER thought of teeth!  I'm so glad you posted this so I won't freak out if it happens to us.
