Are you feeding on demand? ?

Or are you feeding every X amount of hours? ?If so, does your baby take the same amount of formula with each feeding?

I would say we FOD but it tends to be pretty close to every 3 hours. She typically eats the same amount each time during daytime feedings, but if she wakes at night to eat, it'll be about an ounce less.

I feed every 3 to 31/2 hours. He usually takes all of his bottle everytime. sometimes he will leave an ounce.

we do a combo of both. he usually gets hungry every 3-4 hours, but sometimes it's sooner. we'll fix a 6oz bottle, but sometimes he doesn't want it all. once or twice he's wanted an extra oz.

DD usually wants to eat every 3-4 hours and I make 4 ounces except right before bed she usually drinks 5.

I offer her 6 oz. every 3 hours, but she will normally eat anywhere between 4-5.5 oz. We are down to 6 feedings a day and she eats 28-30 oz./day.

DD eats about every 4hours during the day, typically 6 oz each feeing. She is starting to sleep through the night, so we are working out a new schedule since she is no longer waking up at night to eat.

We feed on demand but she typically eats every 2-3 hours, occasionally she will go longer, and yes he usually takes about the same amount per feeding.

A little of both. We try to aim for 3-4hours, and there are times when DD says otherwise. When she has wanted to eat about every 2-3hrs, we try to stretch her out as long as possible, since it could be a mini-growth spurt or DD's reflux rearing it's messy self (blech).

Ditto this exactly. Except DS tends to want the bottle every 2-2.5 hours during the day.

we feed on demand. . . usually every 3-4 hours though with anywhere from 6-9 hours at night! he usually eats 4oz and right before bed i try to give him 6oz! However, a lot of times he would be able to eat more!

Generally we feed on demand, although it follows the same basic schedule, usually every 3 hours still, unless she is sleeping, then she can go longer (4 or 5 hours). And she is STTN. As for how much, we were making 4 ounce bottles, but sometimes she wanted a little more so we would give her an extra ounce as needed. Now we have moved up to making 6 ounce bottles (really its almost 7 onces when mixed), of which she usually takes at least 5 ounces, sometimes more.

We feed on demand, he usually eats about every 3-4 hrs. There are odd times here and there where he's hungry after 2.5 hrs or not until 5 hrs (maybe after a long nap or something he won't want to eat right away). I always offer 8 oz, he usually takes the whole bottle.

sort of a combination, we feed on demand, but I try to hold off as long as he's not screaming to get it close to every 4 hours (although lately he's been going as long as 5 1/2 on his own). We premake the bottles with 4.5 ounces, but he's also had as much as 7 oz in one feeding.
