Nurseries and Baby Gear

Got my sort of rocker (modern)!

I am pretty excited.  After weeks of looking we finally decided on our chair for our nursery.  However, since our home is modern, we did not want to go with the obvious nursing chair.  We also wanted a chair that would fit the rest of our furniture in our home.  And this is also a piece that you keep for life.  I understand that most people do not like this look, bc it's cold, but in the event there are some expecting mothers with modern homes, I thought I should post.

It's very comfy and it has significant bounce to it when you move your body to rock.  We are getting this in an off white. And the leather is water proof.

  • I really like it, I am looking for something similar.  Where is it from?  I am a little curious how functional it would be without the arm rests?

It does come with arm rests, but I find they get in the way og getting up wtih baby.  This is from Knoll (MR Chaise lounge).  Check out Design Withing Reach.  Also, it takes a while to get here.  They are made to order, from Italy.

They also have some reproductions on the internet for a lot less.

  • I love the classics! great choice!

I'd love to see the rest of your nursery!
