Tested positive for Group B Strep...

I have done a lot of reading about this online, but I was wondering if anyone else here has tested positive and if you have what you can tell me about your experience.  Is it something that I should be worried about? I plan to accept the antibiotics during delivery, but I am still worried...

    I, too, tested positive for group B strep.  I had the IV antibiotics, and there were no complications.
    Noah (12~28~06) and Eli (8~5~10)

    I was postive during my last pregnancy.  It was no big deal.  I took the antibiotics and she was perfectly fine.  No complications.

    I tested positive as well.  It was no big deal, I just had to have the IV of antibiotics.  I didn't have any complications either:)  I'm sure you'll be fine:)

    I didn't get tested since my water broke and had to deliver so I got the antibiotics since we didn't actually know my status.  No problems here either.

    Thanks ladies! I appreciate it! I am glad that it is no big deal as long as I get the antibiotics! :)  I will stop worrying about it...

    I'm positive this time around and I'm not worried about it at all.  I've been considered positive since I was 20w pg because I had a UTI that was group B strep.  The doctor said it really is no big deal, so I honestly haven't even looked it up online!  I just plan on having the antibiotics...no big deal :)

    I was positive as well.  I had the antibiotics and everything was fine with me!  It's really no big deal!

    I tested positive, had the antibiotics and my daughter did actually contract it. HOWEVER, it was such a small risk, that its not something I'm worried about happening again. She had a week in the NICU with IV antibiotics and she was totally fine. Even having gone through it, I can say its not something I think you should worry about.

    I tested positive, but my labor went too fast and I never got the antibiotics.  We ended up staying in the hospital an extra day so DD could be monitored.  She was fine though.
