Pregnant after a Loss

let the over-analyzing begin...

I know, I know. I shouldn't do it. I'm trying very hard not to. I'm doing everything in power not to think about things.However...I have been spotting now for 8 days (since 6dpo). I am having a sharp pain in the left side of my abdomen. I am trying to say that it is just stuff moving around or maybe I pulled a muscle or something. I got b/w done this morning so I should have results back by Monday morning. The only thing I am happy about is  (well I'm about lots of stuff, but you know what I mean) that I feel like sh!t. With my last pg, I didn't feel bad at all. I had energy, no nausea, no nothing. I am not even 4 weeks yet and I'm so exhausted, I feel nauseous every time I eat. My bb's aren't that sore, but def more tender than usual. Sorry this is such a boring post, I just needed to get it out and talk to someone who cares (and who knows!! haha). Anyway, thanks for reading my ramble on my symptoms. Hope your'e all having a great Saturday.

  • This isn't a boring post!  I have been spotting for the past 5 days or so but my betas are still looking good.  So try not to worry about that.  The fact that you feel terrible is a great sign!  I can't wait to see your numbers come back nice and high!

    Hopefully the spotting is nothing ...

    But I, like you, had hardly any symptoms during my first pregnancy. Really, none except for slightly sore boobs. This time, though, I felt dizzy/nauseous immediately, like right at 3 weeks. So hopefully that's a good sign for you, too!

  • it may be a blessing to feel terrible :)
  • I think the fact that you feel so tired and nauseous is definitely a good sign. Try to relax until you get your betas back (I know that is much easier said than done)!

    PS-What is your EDD?

  • November 22 :)

    My bday is the 25th so that is a great EDD!

  • Hey Cora, I too hope the spotting goes away soon for you. I had a super sharp pain on my right side for months and when I told the doc they had me come in for an ultrasound and found that I had an ovarian cyst on the right one. (Thats why it took a while to get pg, only the left side was available!) Try not to worry as hard as it is. I hope you have a great appointment on monday and get great numbers back!

  • Hello and welcome!  I only had sore bb's with my first preg too and this oneI definitely have more symptoms and they all started early too.  I hope that the spotting is nothing and I do think it is pretty common.  Congrats!
  • I was freaking out around 5 weeks bc I was having sharp pains in my sides. They were on and off for a few days but apparently there were just stretching pains bc everything was fine. Try not to stress yourself out, not good for the baby. Good Luck!
  • I spotted for 4-5days around my bfp and had major sharp pains too. But, I guess it was just growing pains.
