Hi ladies,?
I have made butternut squash before for my DC - I cut it in half, bake it at 400 degrees, just like wholesome foods says. This time after I baked it, there are little white spots in the center - they weren't there before I baked it. Anybody know what they are - it looks like mold almost, but there is no way it is that! Help!!
Thanks!?
Re: making squash puree - white spots - HELP!
no idea. I'm assuming you didn't use salt right?
I would just scrape them off and puree away. If it wasn't there before hand it's not mold.
