I have heard so many people say how disappointed they were in their espresso crib, that it turned out to be more "cherry". If you got an "espresso" colored crib and were happy with it, what brand/style was it?
I was worried about this too, but a lot of people recommended the Renew collection from JC Penny. This is what we bought and it's a true "espresso" brown. We love it!
Capretti Home/Toscana Collection in Espresso = beautiful.
We actually do not have it in house yet, but I was able to see the whole collection (along with many others) and besides a beautiful design; the color is great!
If you can, find a place that sells their furniture near your home.
We ordered the Davenport Collection by Baby Appleseed in Espresso. I love it! I was able to see it in person at Buy Buy Baby. It is true Espresso...not reddish at all.
We were originally worried about the same thing! We bought the Grayson Convertible Crib Savana from JC Penny for $400 and its simply AMAZING! We also bought an espresso changing table also from JC Penny called the Bella Changing Table. The color is dark espresso and its just perfect. Found a matching glider for $180 by Storkcraft at Walmart. Hope this helps! Good luck
