  For us, there didn't seem to be a connection between the gas and the formula.  I'm sure that's not true for everyone, though.

  We tried soy... It didn't seem to help with the gas and the poops were terrible, terrible I say! I agree with PP - no formula switch seems to help... We've tried everything it seems... I guess he'll just have to grow out of it.

  Switching to soy made a huge difference for us.  He rarely has gas anymore and it was pretty instant.  I haven't switched to anything else, I'll follow up with my doctor about it at his 4 months appointment.  I haven't had to use mylicon or gripe water.  I have both on hand from when he was on regular formula.

  Was the poop green diarrhea? He only pooped once today and that's what it was like.  He usually poops several times a day I don't want him to be constipated.  Did you switch back?  How soon?

  Yes, it helped with gas. It took very little time. We just started to introduce some milk-based formula to her a week ago (6 months), but she's still on soy. No, we don't use any gas drops or anything else with the soy nor did we ever.

  I would describe it as very thick dark green paint. He was pooping about the same in a 24 hour period. We switched back to Similac Sensitive after almost two weeks of it...
