Tell me about wii fit

My husband is interested in it. I know my daughter would love it! But do you really think a grown man is going to get a decent work out from it?

    I dont know about it being a decent workout...but I will say that me and my husband love it. We often get together with a couple we know and have game night revolved around it.

    Depends on what you want out of a workout.  I think a workout needs cardio exercise which the Wii does not provide.  But there are good strength exercises and balance games.  It's fun!   It will not replace a gym membership though, IMHO.

    You can do pretty good balance and toning, but it isn't a very good workout in an aerobic sense.  Some days i am way too tired to go out for exercise and i do some toning.  Dh loves it, but has to avoid high-impact because of a medical condition, so it meets his needs.

    A tangent: we came home from work last week and saw that our (oh so lovely) dog had indigestion and RUINED our balance board.  It doesn't turn on anymore, and even if it did, i'm not sure we would have been able to clean it thoroughly.  Yuck.  We weren't particularly pleased!

    It sucks!  I got it when they were impossible to get then got it home expecting to do Yoga.  But, Yoga is a joke on this system...  long sorry short i've used it only a few times.

    But, I love the Wii its self.
