You said you just got back from the Dr for bp check etc. If there was no protien in your urine did they rul eout preeclampsia? Should I be freaked out about this?? I am planning on just waiting until my apt on monday and keeping an eye on things over the weekend. I mentioned to my dr at my last visit that I had swelling in my hands and tingling...he didnt seem concerned at all...he never is. haa. he is very laid back about everything which is good and bad. I guess Ill just try ot make sure im drinking a lot of water and steer clear of salty foods. Thanks!!

    Hey!  They did rule it out for me because they also did blood work to make sure my platelets and everythign was in line.  He just wanted to make sure nothing was going to happen over the weekend.  Now they are just going to watch me closely to make sure it doesn't develope.  Take it easy over the weekend and if you get a headache (they said it would be a bad frontal type headache), any gastro-intestional pain under the right ribs, or changes in vision/dizziness then go in right away those are signs of Pre-E.  I had a VERY laid back doc too but she just went on maternity leave and I got a new doctor, loved him and i was glad he checked everything just to be sure.  Sounds like i had a lot of the same signs as you did too.  My feet look like stumps, horrible swelling, i woke up lsat night with my eyes swollen and this morning with my hands too....just keep your feet up and he said if you can get in a pool that sometimes helps with the swelling.
