So, there's this woman I used to work with. She told me one day, out of the blue, that she was pregnant for a year. She said that her doctor told her she was "maxxed out" at 9 months, but then let her stay pregnant for another 3 months. I think this was my response:
.
How do you respond to that? Maxxed out? I worry for some people.

Re: Riiiiight....
I couldn't get over the term "maxxed out." WTF? I'm not fully convinced she was seeing a real doctor...or even had a real baby.
Yes.?
LOL. Well, she did also add that she got pregnant w/in 2 weeks of giving birth to her 1st child.......
She never even talks. She just usually stomps around and scowls. I think the only other time she spoke to me was to tell me that I wasn't "looking pregnant enough" for her liking.
I was confused by this, as well.
So then maybe she didn't have a period for three months and thought she was pregnant?
Huh.
Actually, in Husband-Coached Childbirth, Dr Bradley talks about one of his patients that was pg way longer than 40 weeks. I think he said it was about a year. I made the same face you did, though.
