any suggestions? we have one of those boob lights in the room now, but obviously, we'll be removing that! but i'm stumped as to what to put in place of it. we'd be putting whatever overhead light fixture on a dimmer as well as a small table lamp on the night stand by the rocker.

I don't love it, but the ceiling is quite low and surrounded by pitched walls, so I needed to get a flush mount, compact fixture. I thought the stars etc... at least makes it look a little more like it's for a kids room.
I started doing random google searches for kid's lighting fixtures - there are a lot of websites /w big selections.
I don't know what your style is but we are probably going with this light which I think a pretty unisex.
