Potterybarn or Restoration Hardware Outlets

What are their children/baby sections like? I know it may be different depending on your visit but in general, what was your feel?

Re: Potterybarn or Restoration Hardware Outlets

  • The Pottery Barn outlet in Leesburg is really small.  If you are ever heading up north, the Pottery Barn outlet in Lancaster, PA is really big.  Plus... last year they decided it was so popular they opened up a separate Pottery Barn Kids outlet which is also fairly large.  Last time I was there they had a lot of bedding and lamps!

  • Check everything out carefully in both stores.  I've found that most furniture items are damaged in some way.

  • The last time I checked, the RH outlet (at Leesburg) wasn't carrying anything from the Baby & Child line. The people at the outlet said it would be a long while before they started carrying it because it's so new.

I have not had good luck at the PB outlet either--they do have a lot of baby stuff at the Leesburg outlet, but it's really random and yes, most of the furniture I saw was damaged.

  • I've found the the PB outlet has more along the lines of baby bedding, bathroom stuff and rug over furniture. Then again that was when i browsed pre-pregnancy so I didn't pay too much attention.

I don't remember ever seeing anything for baby at RH, but again i wasn't really looking. In general though I think the RH outlet is not all that great.
