DD turns 1 at the end of the month. I am weaning her off the formula and offering her a little whole milk in a sippy cup every day. She does not seem to like the whole milk very much, but I know it's still early. Over the last week or so, she has not been eating as much solid food as she normally does. I'm a little worried that once she is completely off formula, she is going to go through a phase of picky eating and not get the nutrition she needs. Have any of you experienced this, and did any of you give vitamins to DC at this age to compensate? Any particular brand? TIA!
*I plan on asking the pedi, but I couldn't get an appointment with him until 3 weeks after her birthday. I'll try calling if the problem persists.
Re: Did you give DC vitamins at 12 months?
We do. We started because Emme is drinking Soy milk (milk allergy) but our Pedi said she is starting to recommend Poly-vi-Sol for all toddlers.
We use the Poly-vi-Sol- I mix it right into her soy milk sippy and she does not even seem to care. Just once a day, though.
HTH.
BTW- cute siggy
Thanks! The first couple of seasons of the The Fresh Prince was my favorite show when I was about 12 years old.
