Advice: do NOT google images of "pregnancy stretchmarks".

I was attempting to tell myself that some aren't that bad. Apparently, on google, they are all horrible.

I'm just waiting for them to come out....

I would think any photo can be doctored to look worse than it is. But It maybe the chance where you won't get them. Did your mom have them when she had you?

AHHHHH!!!!

I thought I was doing good for being over 30 weeks and not having any, but I guess lots of people get them much later...so I could still be screwed.

Ah well. At least they'll match the lovely ones on my thighs and hips (gotta love hitting puberty at age 10) and breasts (how unfair to have stretchmarks and be an A cup!)

A - no, my mom didn't have any. Maybe I will luck out!

It's funny, because both my mom and I got stretchmarks during puberty, but never later when we've gained weight...weird eh?

I guess if I don't have them yet, if I do get them, they at least won't be as scary as that picture...right...RIGHT???

(note: I don't *really* care that much. Not as much as I care about baby. But I'm ugly enough without the stretchmarks, lol)

That is scary! I am sure yours will not be that bad... and at least they fade over time. You can always buy cream to help them fade faster after you deliver.

I got them pretty early on like around 24 weeks or so. They are not nearly as bad as that picture and they've already faded a lot. I don't wear bikinis so I could care less about them really. Don't worry...some people barely get them. Not much you can do anyway, but keep lotion and try not to itch them if you do get them.

I think I'm in denial about the "no bikini" thing for me...lol. It's like my brain is screaming "it's still good, it's still good!"

I'm due in May, so I think it's safe to say that THIS summer I'll be swimming fully covered...

Yeah probably this summer, but by next maybe not. My body is in no way bikini ready anyway..I've got a lot to lose before I'd bare that much skin. I think the last time I wore a two piece I was like 21 or 22 years old. haha
