Am I really getting stretch marks on my hips? Am I imagining this? I lube myself up with cocoa butter all over my stomach every night and morning --nothing there.
But my hips? Why didn't somone warn me about this?!?!?!
Welcome to the club.. I have them on my inner knees. wtf is that about? I haven't gained any weight there. And mind you, I had the knee stretch marks around 12 weeks... Now I have them everywhere

UGH I have them on my calves, and my legs are the same size they were before I got pg. WTF?
Yeah the hips, but like a few pp I got some through puberty. I have gotten a few on my inner thighs.. yuck! at least they aren't red so not too visible but still.
That is the only place I had them until I hit 37.5 weeks...and then I got stretch marks on my stomach....so for poster who said that their stomach is beautifully smooth at 35 weeks...you may not be out of the woods yet!
I thought I was out of the woods (talk about being cocky!!) and noticed a few of my 'old' stretch marks on my hips growing new additions the other day.
My stomach is still smooth, but I'm now thinking it's all a matter of time - considering I don't even feel like I've popped yet, and I definitely haven't dropped...
Re: Stretch marks on your hips?
I could have warned you about this. That's where they started for me. I had them when I went thru puberty but now I have more.
They will get lighter after pregnancy, don't worry. Its just one of the sucky things about being the incubator.?
That's the only place I got them. The dr pointed out that at least they aren't front and center. Nice. And they faded -- eventually.
And could be somewhat worse -- some women get them on their boobs or rear.
DD -- 5YO
DS -- 3YO
I had a few light ones on my hips pre-pregnancy so I've sort of expected to get more there. So far I'm in the clear, but probably not for long.
Stretch marks are more hereditary than anything else, not even coco butter can stop them. Sorry
my little powder puff
