nbr how much do you spend on your hair?

When you get it done....cut, highlight (full or partial), dyed, etc...Just curious. ?I made an appointment for Wed for a partial highlight, cut, and eyebrows for $143. ?Just seems like an aweful lot of $. ?I am going somewhere new but I know the girl who will be cutting my hair and she is really good. ?I guess it is probably considered upscale..i'm not really sure though. ?I am pretty picky with my hair so we shall see :)

  • $140 is a lot.

I get a cut & blowdry for $65. I've been seeing the same woman since I was 10 and she was 21, so I get a discount at her salon. Regular cut & style is like $80 i think. (I also have long, thick hair so they charge more for it)

  • Partial highlight and cut with tip, $100.  The girl I go to used to work in an upscale place and I'd pay about $150 or more with tip when she worked there.  She quit there about 6 months ago and rents a booth and is way, way cheaper now so I always tip big.  So I think without tip it is like $80 or $85.

  • Cut is $35, Cut and Color (which I usually get) is around 220. I have tons and tons of hair, though, so it's really complicated to do. I also usually feel bad when I just get a cut because it takes 2 hours so I tip really well.

  • I do hair. Our prices are $75 for a partial and haircut and $90 for full and a cut and brow wax is $8. and believe or not some people think we are expensive

  • I don't dye my hair, I just get it cut probably every other month or so. I usually spend $25 and half of that is just the tip b/c I have a good friend who cut's and style's it for me and always gives me an amazing deal.
  • $130 for highlights (partial), cut and blowdry.  This includes tip.  This is monthly for me....gotta cover those grays!

  • I spend about $125 a year on my hair, including Aveda shampoo.  I get it cut 3X a year by a friend who works at a great salon, but cuts my hair in her home on her day off.  (Her regular price is $80+ tip)
  • I just got my first cut of the year and I went to the Paul Mitchell school. It cost me $10 + tip. I guess I am a cheapo, lol. I don't care how my hair is cut and I havent colored it in 8 years. My haircut before that was free, because a friend who is in hair school cut it.
  • MIL is a cosmetology instructor so i spend oh about..... $0

    ahhhhh. jebus loves me :)

  • Wow.. that is alot.

Last time I spent $85 for partial highlights, cut, blow dry and style. I went for another cut about 3 weeks ago and it was only $25.

Well if you like it, I'm sure it'll be worth it! =)

  • Ouch. I'd like to spend more on my hair, but I'm a little cheap. Ah well. I usually get it cut every 2-3 months for somewhere around $20 and touch up trim myself. I've always colored it myself. As for brows I get them threaded for $15.

  • $50 for the cut and blow dry, plus tip.  I don't go as often as I should with short hair, but I'm cheap.
  • Before I was prego I went back to my natural hair color at my salon.  My salon that I go to is upscale and the stylist are priced according to their experience.  I go to an experienced and I got a cut, color, and eyebrow wax for $123 plus I gave a tip.  I would rather pay more and like it!
