Motherhood Maternity - shopping online?

I've never been to a store, have no idea how the jeans would fit...but I'm considering buying a pair online. This is pretty out of character for me but I'm desperate for some full panel jeans and no stores in my area have any. The nearest Motherhood store is over an hour away and I don't see myself driving all that way just to try on some jeans.

Have you ever bought jeans from them before? Are they comfy? Fit okay? Would you buy clothes online even if you'd never tried them on before?

Re: Motherhood Maternity - shopping online?

  • I always have to try jeans on, when I bought my maternity jeans there I had to try on like 10 pairs before I found a pair that looked decent.

I know that is no help.  They also have a super shitty return policy so if you order them online and hate them you need to return them right away, don't sit on them for too long.

If you have the time to take the drive the store I'd do that.

    HMMMM.....

I'm the same way, which is why I'm so hesitant.

  • I have a couple of pairs from MM. They fit ok, but honestly pea in a pod is cheaper and more comfy. Also Target and Ross have a really good maternity section with pretty good prices. I see no need in buying expensive maternity clothes when you don't wear it long enough. IMO.
  • Right now all Target has are capri's. Not even near warm enough for that yet.
  • They fit me well and they weren't very expensive. ($30ish) The only other jeans that I purchased were Seven for All Mankind and to be honest, the MM were more comfortable as I got bigger. They have the ugly strechy belly that my husband discovered would reach my eyebrows if assisted, but I'm going to miss them after I deliver. Their return policy sucks! Make sure there is something else you can return them for just in case you don't like them. The store gives ou 10 days to return for a credit, no refunds allowed.

  • I bought jeans from them..love em and they fit me well.  I'm 5'1 too, so their petites are perfect for me.
  • I bought then from MM online and I LOVE them! The only thing I would change is I would have ordered a longer pair.. I tend to roll mine up like capris when I go out b/c they otherwise look like floods. They are very comfortable though.

  • I have 2 pair from motherhood and they are comfy! I bought the secret fit belly jeans and the part that covers your belly is really soft and light.  I was wearing a size 10 in reg jeans and went with mediums and they fit perfect!  I love them!  My Old Navy Maternity jeans shrunk and the belly part is tight and hurts and I hate them!
