Hey ladies! I'm wondering if any of you on here are currently being treated for mthfr. I was just diagnosed on Monday and was hoping to hear a couple of success stories!

    I am! Daily I take:

    1 Prenatal Vitamin with 800mcg's of Folic Acid

    Additional Foic acid 1200 mcg = 2000mcgs total

    1 baby asprin a day

    1 100mg B6 a day

    Plus I am slightly anemic so I am also on Iron.

    So Far So good for me!

    I just got diagnosed on Tuesday after 4 miscarriages.  Doctor said a baby aspirin a day, 2000mcg of folic acid, and Lovenox when I get pregnant again.

    Sarabobby, First, I can't help but think of justinbobby when I see your SN. Do you watch The Hills?

    Second, are those all OTC or are some of them prescription?

    Did either of you have any additional testing after you initial MTHFR diagnoses?

    I got diagnosed with mthfr after my 2nd m/c. I go to a maternal fetal dr who is very proactive when it comes to this and put me on innohep which is a blood thinner injection. Also on folgard 2.2 I will be 13 weeks on Sunday and just listened to the h/b on my doppler! good luck to you.

    THanks. So do you give yourself the injections or does your DH? How quickly were you able to get pregnant after your treatments started?

    I give myself the injections, although my DH had to give me about 4 or so injections because it was hurting too bad those times for some reason!

    I had my 2nd d&c 11/20 and started on baby aspirin soon after that and we got pregnant again the cycle of my first AF. I was really surprised it happened that fast. Then I stopped the baby aspirin and was started on the injections.

    Me too!??
    I take the same as above - BA, extra folic acid and extra B6 and 12 - I just take something called "Super B complex" and it has it all except the BA.? I take it with my prenatal.??
    I have another blood clotting issue (factor V) that i may need Lovenox injections for as well.??
    I am only 5 weeks along right now but hoping it will help!??

    I am with baby aspirin and high doses of folic acid with b vitamins only. ?No shots. ?So far, so good. ?Good luck!
