What shoes are you wearing these days?

As I mentioned earlier, my feet are the size of clown shoes. My OB chastised me for wearing flip flops to an appointment last week, and I can't exactly wear them to work anyway. What shoes are you all wearing? I need something slip-on, comfortable, and supportive...

Re: What shoes are you wearing these days?

  • I'm living in these lately.

  • Due to the crazy weather - it has been a variety!

Flip flops if nice at all (anything above 55), I have some semi-decent "girly" looking crocs for inbetween weather, and Uggs when Its cold (35 and below)

  • Oh, and while they have laces, they're actually easier to slip on and off than untie and retie
  • tennis shoes
  • To and from work I wear a new pair of Clark's which I had to go up a size and my sister said they look like corrective shoes.  But they are comfy.  At work I have to wear house slippers which I do at home as well.  Otherwise I am in flip flops too!

  • I bought a few pairs of Life Stride flats and BCBG flats at Macy's (between $30-$80 a pair).  I have to walk a lot at work so heels are not an option and both brands are so comfy.  Plus I am trying to avoid any vericose veins (my mom had a bunch when she was pregnant).

  • Flip flops and tennis shoes!
  • I hate to say it...but what about crocs?Tongue Tied
  • Spend the $$ and get a pair of fit-flops from Bath & Body Works or Victoria's Secret. They're SOOOOO comfortable!!!
  • I actually had heels on yesterday but my norm is ballet flats, sneakers (weekends) or flip flops (again weekends)
  • i'm down to one pair of flats that fit my feet for work and flip flips the rest of the time.

  • i like to wear my uggs and flip flops if i can. i also bought a pair of sneakers at target for like 17 bucks. they are plaid green and pink i think. really cute and they don't have laces, they have like stretch bands across them where the laces would be, they are really comfy to wear a lot too.

  • I have clown feet too and the only shoes that have been comfortable for me are crocs.  They have it all - slip-on, comfortable and generally supportive.  Not very fashionable...but I gave up on that a while ago.
  • Slip on boots. I couldn't tie shoes if my life depended on it. Most mornings I have DH put my socks and boots on my feet for me! LOL!

  • These are made by Easy Spirit and I got them at Boscovs. Plenty of support and no reason to reach down and tie.

  • I'm still wearing heels to work, but I do wear flats on the weekends.  Maybe try the ballet flat or Mary Jane Crocs?

  • Thanks, ladies. I've been wearing my Uggs everyday, but it's getting a little warmer. The doc said - because of my recent back issues - that flip flops aren't supportive enough and to wear tennis shoes. But frankly, I'm in too much pain to bend over and tie shoes. I've been thinking Crocs, but I wasn't sure if they would be supportive enough. I think I'm going to have to give them a try...
  • crocs have been my staple, and i was wearing flats until my feet got too fat for them lol (flip flops here i come, glad its warming up) but right now i have on some Nike Dunks (hi-top sneakers)....gimme a break..im 23, i have to be fashionable in some way since i can't rock heels for another 2 months... LOL...

  • I got a pair of Dansko clogs from my FIL as a Christmas gift --- I fell in love with them. I spent the $ and bought myself a pair of brown ones. SO worth it. They are SO comfy - And I think kind of cute - I LIVE in them during the week. They are the only shoes I wear during the week now!

On the weekends, I wear sneakers or croc (around the house). Wish it was warm enough for flip flops.

  • Either my uggs or my skechers slip on sneakers.
  • Shoes by Naot.  They look a little weird, but are very comfy!
