Weaning From Pumping

I EP and am trying to wean. If you did it how long does it take? Also can you feel sick from weaning? I am having flu like symptoms and wonder if thats because of weaning. TIA!

    I don't EP but I'm weaning off pumping at work.  I'm down to one session a day and I haven't had any problem with engorgement or flu like symptoms.  I just started weaning last Tuesday.

    I am weaning also right now, and I haven't had any flu like symptoms. Not really much engorgement either. I cut from 3 pumping sessions down to 1, and am taking it slowly. I hope to have him fully weaned by 6 months.
