Those who had BFN w/ FET or IVF
How long before you could get back in the game? The nurse said we had to wait one whole cycle which means I have to wait for a AF to arrive twice. That would be April's AF and May before we could start meds for another FET. Then June before all is said and done. Ugh, that seems like a long time. Is that the standard wait after a BFN?
Also, how long before AF showed after your BFN? Of course I'm being impatient and I want her to show her ugly face NOW.
Truthfully, it may not matter as we need to figure out how to pay for another cycle.

I had to wait one cycle - not two. That seems to be the norm around here from what I can recall.
I am sorry about your BFN:( I think AF arrived 5 days after I started progesterone. It was really heavy so be prepared for that.
My RE was going to allow us to start again after my first AF, but we had to figure out how we were paying for it so we waiting a couple months. I hated to wait, but I was glad we did. It gave me some time to prepare for it and I some fun with DH before we started the meds all over again.

After a BFN, I've had to wait one cycle. ?When I was doing fresh cycles (with a long Lupron protocol), my?suppression?cycle with BCPs/Lupron was sufficient. ?The big thing is that my REs never wanted me to go right into stims without a break.
ETA: ?Forgot about the AF part... ?For me, it all depends. ?On one?occasion?I started spotting while on progesterone so AF showed pretty much as soon as I stopped and, at most, I've waited about 5 days.?
With my first RE I always had to wait forever. I am on my 3rd IVF and I started last June - forever. I could not get a WTF appointment in until a month and a half and then I had to go through this whole approval process to start the next cycle which would take another month, we are talking a 3 month downtime between cycles.
With my new clinic they require one cycle down time.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!

I'm sorry about your BFN.
When we got the BFN, and stopped the shots, I got AF about 3 or 4 days later. My RE makes you wait a cycle before trying again. I feel your pain as I have been ready for quite some time but now we need to redo some tests. We wont be back on until next cycle.

I just had mine last week too and I just have to sit out the rest of March and will start back up with stims in April.
I stopped my prog and estrogen on Thusday, and got AF on Saturday and went on BCPs on Tuesday. So it on'y took me 2 days for AF to come.
I think I've only had to wait out one cycle, meaning I'd wait for AF to arrive, then get on BCPs to start my next cycle. I have details and timelines in my bio if you want more specific info.
AF usually arrived for me 4 days or so after I stopped taking progesterone.

I was on an antagonist protocol and when I got AF after BFN I went in on day 3 for U/S and B/W and then started on BCPs. They changed my protocol this time and now I'm using Lupron. I do 3 weeks of BCPs (same as before) then start Lupron for 2nd IVF cycle. It will be about 2 months to the day between 1st cycle ER and 2nd cycle ER.
