We've always used a baby papason chair, which was a Godsend for the first month, but now that Lilly has started daycare and has been introduced to the bouncy seat, the girl is in love! I debated about not getting one for home so that she'd have something at daycare that she loves that she only has there. But today is my first day home with her since going back to work and I can see how much she has grown and really needs more than what we have at home (i.e. spindles, celing fan lights, abstract artwork, b&w photos!).
I tried strapping on our stroller activity bar but it doesn't work on the papason or swing... same with the carseat bar. So... please recommend your bouncy seat! If I'm lucky WalMart will have it and I can buy it today, otherwise I'm going to order one. I'd rather have a tried & true product than just buy something on a whim because I could get it easily.
Re: It's time for a bouncy seat... help:)
i've heard this from a lot of ladies on here. i've seen that one at walmart too.
this is the one we have...

We have the FP rainforest one - Avery will sit and watch the "water" and music forever but doesn't bounce when the bar is on it.
At day care they just have some simple bouncers with soft toy bars adn she likes those just as much as the FP one.
So my advice to you would be to get whatever was chaap
DS is at the point now that he won't sit in it anymore. He used to play with the toys but now he just wants out. get something cheap.
