Is it my water or pee?

Ok, I'm gonna be one of those people right now with the lame question.  I just took the dog for a walk and part way through it felt like I peed a little in my pants, but I couldn't stop it.  It happened again maybe 5-6 times until I could get home.  I came home and emptied my bladder and have put a pad on.  But I don't feel any contractions.  Did I wet myself that much or do you think it could be my water?

I'm so confused and don't want to go to L&D for pee.

    what was the rule someone had in their siggy "if it smells like sex it's your water, if it smells like pee, it's pee!" lol

     I would call the doctor and see what they say, honestly...

    squeeze your kegel muscles and if it continues, it's not pee.

    that's what the doctor told me to do if I have this problem=)

    Go pee, put on a pad and lay down for 15 minutes. If it still comes out as you lay down then give them a call. It might also just be discharge. Amniotic fluid tends to have a slight odor that can be sweet or for some people it smells a little like bleach. Hope that helps some. Keep in mind that it is totally normal to have watery discharge at the end of pregnancy. However, if in doubt, always call your doc.

    My doctor said to put on a fresh pad and walk around for 30 minutes.  If it's wet, go in.

    That was all good advice. Don't feel bad if you do go to L&D for nothing, they've seen EVERYTHING.

    I always wonder this and DH always asks me if it smells like pee. Well..lemme tell ya, nothing on my body has smelled quite how it should in quite some time so the pee odor in and of itself is a little hard to distinguish.

    Anyway, I'd probably just wait to see if you have any pains/ctx. If you notice any more of it though, call and get checked out-couldn't hurt right?

     You can leak your water at anytime and not have contractions or pain. I wouldn't wait for that.

     I would be at the dr. every day if I followed this advice. My liners are wet almost immediately & have been the whole pg.
