If I remember correctly, you posted a couple weeks ago over on the cleaning board looking for a good vacuum for bare floors.  I don't know if anyone responded or if you already found one, but I was catching up on old issues of Good Housekeeping and they recommend the Bissell Versus Bare Floor Vacuum.  HTH!

    Thanks! That was me-- all these wood floors are killing me! I picked up a Swiffer Sweeper for the time being but I am going to check out the Bissell reviews on Amazon now-- thanks for the tip!
