I like to think that my daughter is ready for potty training. LAst week I caught her sitting on her potty (still with her clothes on) but she smelled like poo, and I realized she wanted to go poopy but didn't get the fact that she has to take her diaper off. So I gave her treats just for getting the concept and all. I was really excited for that. But I just can not get myself to take the plunge to training her and make myself take a week with nothing to do but that. It's not her, but me. Any ideas on what to do?? Or how did you take the potty training plunge? I want to make it exciting but I don't feel like I have the energy to do it. Anyone? Did anyone else have this problem?
Re: Potty Training...
I don't know if this is related or not but for me just the idea of them being potty trained just means that they are growing up and not needing as much which tottally makes me sad.
But on the other hand, if I don't have to buy another diaper again for the rest of my life...how exciting.
We potty trained Jack last week using the 3 Day Potty Training program eBook. Jack is now 100% potty trained. We started on March 3. I screwed up the first day so actually March 4. Jack had two accidents during the night last week and that's it. He is in boxer briefs for both day and night. No.more.diapers.no.more.pullups. Done.
The above poster is right. It has been really hard for me to see my little baby boy become a big boy so fast. I want my baby back. Not the diapers though.
What is the 3 Day Potty Training program eBook? Do you have anymore info on that? Would like to look into it.
