DH & I are beyond devistated. The BM went to the agency this morning and revoked the adoption papers. I honestly have no words. I feel like our child has died. I don't know if I can go through this again.

(deep sigh) I'm so very sorry. People always have words that they think are of comfort to someone grieving and I don't know that they really are but here are mine: your baby is waiting for you - waiting for you to find him/her and waiting to find you and your DH. Think about amazing events or people you have met that are in your life right now. If *something* hadn't happened at just the right time and in just the right way, would you have ever met those people?

I like to think that this is how we meet our babies too, after just the right thing or event happens, at just the right time ... and years down the road you'll look back and realize how sad it was to go through this journey and loss but if you didn't go through it the beautiful child that you are mom to might not be in your arms.

You're in my thoughts today.
