I am waiting for a call back from the dr.
But for those of you who had low progesterone levels, were you on meds while ttc? My levels were low with the last pregnancy and the dr. (which is a new dr) thinks that they have always been low and my old a-hole dr. never checked on this.
Re: Should I be on progesterone supps?
I would wait until you hear from your new doctor. I would however be highly annoyed if this were true and my old doc never even checked it.
Good luck, and I hope you hear from the doc soon!

Thanks girls....
Yeah, it bugs me that that stupid dr. didn't help us in anyway. When i was 8 weeks along, we had seen the u/s and the baby was fine. We did a few blood tests, but they never told me anything. With the last pregnancy my levels were really low and the new dr. was pretty pissed that the old dr. didn't put me on any meds at all. I was on prometrium at 5 weeks pregnant. He wants to put me on that again, but he said when I become pregnant again. I am just worried that it will be too late.
I went on them during TTC for all my LP's.
I really hope you don't need the supp's (or can do the oral pill). Having to do the supp's 2x's a day really was annoying. Seriously, I oozed at work and at bedtime. gross.
Not to mention our sunday mornings we go to Church, breakfast, then a 10am movie. (my supp times were 10am and 10pm). So I'd fill a tupperware with ice. Put the supp in a baggie. Seal the baggie and fold it small, then stick it in the tupperware of ice. I'd take that to the theater and just before the movie, I'd take the baggie to the restroom and take care of business. Talk about a PITA!

I think only if it's the supplements. (not the ones you take orally)
supplements (as in oral pills)... no need to refridgerate
suppositories... mine had to be refridgerated. They're like waxy little bullets.
