  Is she in RSM? If so I saw her once, not for pregnancy, but for gynecologic reasons, she was very nice and knowledgeable.

  I used to work at hoag- Dr. Grouse is really good.. my friend goes to her and has nothing but good things to say. gl!

  I know at least 3 people who go to her.  1 loves her.  2 go to her because she's the only one available; 1 of them think there is a better dr in the same practice (but I forgot her name).  I saw her once and I honestly couldn't stand her.  She did the roughest papsmear on me ever.  And I was disappointed that their nurse practitioner didn't know about the kind of procedure I had.

  I saw another doctor in the same practice, Dr. Hsu, who no longer practices there.  I saw Dr. Grouse once when Dr. Hsu was on vacation.  She was alright, not incredible and not bad.  I saw her NP once too, and she was great - very gentle when she performed the exam, very sweet and took lots of time to talk to me.  I wouldn't highly recomend her, but I wouldn't say don't go to her either.

  Sorry I couldn't be more help - for what it's worth, I don't think you have to be in love with your OB - what matters is that they do a good job and deliver a healthy baby!  All the touchy-feely stuff is nice when you are pregnant and emotional, but in the end it doesn't really make a difference.

  I saw her twice. My 1st experience was fair so I thought I'd give her another chance.  I did and she wasn't very nice.  I'd never see her again. She wasn't my style and was too abrasive for me.

  I have a good friend that goes to her though & likes her. good luck!

  Hello~.  I am not Dr. Grouse's patient, but I go see Dr. Strachan who practices out of the same office.  The staff is very friendly.  I don't know about Dr. Grouse but Dr. Strachan is awesome.  You should be in good hands - I always see pictures of Dr. Grouse's patients and babies and they look happy and healthy!
