Babies: 9 - 12 Months

FF's - a question

I've been giving Tallen Gentlease since he was about two months old.  We recently switched to the Target brand to save money and he is fine with it.  Today I received a sample of Enfamil Lipil in the mail - do you think it'd be okay to use that as well?  I mean, he eats mostly table food and a lot of finger food and his tummy is absolutely fine with it, so I am guessing it would be okay, but wanted some opinions.

TIA!!!

Re: FF's - a question

  • I think it would be fine. We used Enfamil Lipil for the first 3 months, then switched to Target brand, and it was totally fine.

  • you could try it. i have tried to switch formula on sawyer and she threw it up bad.
  • Punk - how old was she? Did she ever have issues with other foods before?
  • she has been on similac sensitive since about 2 months and i tried something else recently (within the past month) and it was a no-go.
  • DS has no problem with whatever formula he drinks. I've used enfamil lipil...similac advance and gentlease. My pedi said it doesn't matter of the brand as long as it's all milk based...or all soy based. I've used whatever we got samples or coupons for.

  • Thank you for all of the input ladies!  Perhaps I will cautiously try it out. We'll see...
  • I hear you are supposed to stick to the same brand, but DD has had several different formulas with no problems.

You may also consider 1 scoop of new formula and mix with his current formula, I've done that with DD also.

Oh! What a good idea! I didn't even think of that - thank you!
