Baby Showers

So - I am not expecting. However ! My little sister is expecting and I am hosting a baby shower for her. Our parent's house is not big enough to host a baby shower as we live right by the airport and our house is very small. So we are looking into public places. It would be for a fairly large shower.. about 50 people. Where is a good place to host a shower? T.I.A

Re: Baby Showers

  • When is the shower?  You might look into renting a park pavilion if it is in the late spring or summer.  There are a few parks with enclosed pavilions too but they would be more expensive.  I guess it depends on how much money you want to spend because you could always rent a private room at a restaurant for brunch or dinner.  I know a lot of hotels also have meeting rooms or reception areas to rent out. Hope this helps.

  • Try a city community center.  I live in Maple Grove and their community center is perfect for baby showers - you can rent the party rooms there.  I've been to one there and it worked out great!
