My DD is extremely into books and I feel like our library is getting dull... I want to get some new books to put in her easter basket. What are some of your little one's favorites?
Some of our favs are: Clifford, Is your mama a llama, brown bear brown bear, jamberry, harry the dirty dog, gossie, stellaluna, and any touch and feel book
DS loves Love You Forever, Guess How Much I Love You, the Dinosaur books (How does a Dinosaur Go to Bed etc), Where the Wild Things Are, and When You Give a Mouse a Cookie. He loves so many, but those are the ones I can think of right now.
Our wonderful baby boy, Kellen, was born on 12/27/07
Brown Bear Brown Bear, blue Hat Green Hat, Big Red Barn (by Margaret Wise Brown who also wrote Goodnight Moon), Time for Bed by Mem Fox. DD likes a bunch of quick Dr. Suess books like the Foot Book, Hand Book, and Hand Hand Fingers Thumb. Those are all short books, but still faves.
DD loves any board book that has flaps (Peekaboo books). She also LOVES word books (like little picture dictionaries). We also have three books by Matthew Van Fleet (Dog, Cat, and Alphabet). They are 'read with mommy and daddy' books, but are super fun (lots of moving parts). Chapters often has board books on discount, so I usually pick up a few when I'm in. DD really isn't picky!
We have 2 Boynton sets he likes, also Very Hungry Caterpillar, Baby Einstein books, uhhh, that's all I can think of right now. Oh, touch and feel books are good.
