How long...re:teething

DS has been cranky, drooling, and chewing the crap out of his hands.  He is only 3 months but I was looking around in his mouth and I can see 2 little teeth below his gums on the bottom.

About how long does it take for them to appear above the gums?

    It's been pretty close to 2 months that DS has been showing symptoms of teething and still no teeth here!

    From the time that I saw them below the gum to them cutting through was 5-7 days.  Those days were hell too.  I highly recommend Hyland's teething tablets.  You can find them at Target behind the pharmacy counter or at BRU (first aid aisle), or any drug store. HTH.

    Oh and since your LO isn't six months old, you can use Tylenol.  Motrin is for after six months, which I find works better. 

    Good luck to you.  I'm goinig through it too (again) DD is cutting her top teeth.

    Yeah I just googled and there was a board with people saying they could see the teeth below the gums but they didn't "come out" for a couple months!  Fun times!
