Hopefully you girls have some insight and have some advice for me:
I am at least 2 days late for my period. Usually it is fairly regular, but i have skipped months before in the past. This month, I am supposed to call immediately upon getting my period to schedule my tests, etc. to get started on Clomid. But still no period!! I took 3 preganancy tests... all negative.
What should I do if I don't get a period this month? Wait till next month and see if I get one in April, then start the process? Or can you start the Clomid process without a period???
Re: Question about starting Clomid
Because we're fancy like that.
This hasn't happened to me before but from reading other girls posts if your period extends a certain amount of days then the ob can give you provera I believe to start your period but you have to call your ob & let them know you haven't started. Yes you have to have a period so you know the exact days to start the clomid. Like mine has always be on cd 4.
Your dr would probably give you a blood test to make sure you are not pg, then prescribe Provera or Prometrium to bring on AF.
I started Clomid either on CD 3 or CD 5.
I have to wait until CD40 to start Provera (after a BFN) and will start Clomid for the first time next month on CD 5-9. You definitely have to wait for AF to start Clomid.
